And so we enter the final week…..probably.
My wife has got to that stage in her pregnancy when everything is an effort and nothing is comfortable. At least the sunshine means we can go outdoors, although we can’t walk very far, and it’s fast becoming too hot for her.
Our children are becoming bored with all the “any day now” talk and George has started each morning with a heartfelt “baby come today?” plea. Mind you I have a sneaking suspicion that when he does arrive the reality is going to be unlike anything that they have imagined.
After all, what could go wrong with letting a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old look after, change and feed a newborn?
Still I’m sure that when the baby arrives, we can all get a good night’s sleep and throw ourselves back into the old routine………
