George, as I’ve pointed out before, does not enjoy the cold weather and especially the snow.
However today he had cause to give me one of his hardest Paddington Bear stares when, after complaining that his hands were cold, I told him blowing on them would help.
He thought for a moment and said “not warm, cold Daddy”, to which I had to stop and think.
And then it hit me, when he has a hot meal we tell him to blow on it to cool it down, and here I was telling him to blow on his hands to warm them up!
No wonder children get confused and frustrated with the world sometimes…..
